Kamatero storm water master plan

Project type:

Public infrastructure

The project involves the master plan of a complete stormwater drainage system for an urban area. It includes approximately 16 km of underground gravity pipelines, ranging from DN600 to DN2000, as well as selected box culverts up to 2.0x2.0 m.

Pipes are made of reinforced concrete or HDPE, with watertight joints and access manholes at key points. The network is divided into three drainage sub-areas, ensuring efficient collection and safe discharge of runoff to the Eschatias stream and local watercourses.

The works aim to enhance urban flood protection, improve drainage infrastructure, and ensure the sustainable management of stormwater within the city.
